Kubelancer is looking for a skilled AWS Solution Architect to design, build, and optimize cloud solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and performance for our clients. As an AWS Solution Architect, you will be responsible for developing high-quality cloud architecture, ensuring best practices in security and cost optimization, and providing guidance on complex AWS environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and product managers, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that align with business goals.
Job responsibilities
- Architect AWS Solutions: Design secure, scalable, and resilient AWS architectures tailored to client needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Cloud Migration and Modernization: Lead and support cloud migration and modernization projects, implementing best practices for cost efficiency, performance, and security.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage IaC using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform, ensuring consistency and version control across environments.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze cloud usage and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising performance or reliability.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that AWS environments adhere to security standards, implementing identity and access management, data encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Technical Documentation: Create detailed architectural documentation, implementation plans, and best practice guidelines to support project goals and maintain consistent standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective AWS solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS features, services, and industry best practices to continuously improve solution architecture and cloud offerings.

Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing AWS solutions for complex, multi-account environments.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.) and serverless architecture.
- Strong experience with IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Understanding of networking principles, VPN, Direct Connect, and hybrid architectures.
- Proficient in security best practices, including IAM, security groups, and encryption.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to support continuous delivery in AWS.
- Certifications (preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
